The US Capitol Building sits high on Jenkins Hill overlooking all of Washington, DC. We'll start our tour here and gain reserved access for a docent led tour around the Halls of Congress. Afterwards, we'll walk underground to the stunning Library of Congress to take in the remarkable architecture and learn about the largest library in the world.
Later, we'll step outside for a walk around the Capitol Hill neighborhood to take in the history of one of the most powerful parts of town. Here about the area's famous residents, scandals, and true crime happening in the shadows of the Capitol Dome. With stops at the Supreme Court and Union Station, you'll be in the heart of the action in Washington, DC.
This tour will meet in front of the Jefferson Building of the Library of Congress, near the intersection of E. Capitol Street and First Street SE, Washington DC. Your City Segway Tours Guide will be waiting at the Neptune Fountain on the street level in front of the Library of Congress (Thomas Jefferson Building). The closest metro station is Capitol South Metro Station (Orange & Blue Line) which is roughly a 5 minute walk away from the meeting point.
