A 4-hour workshop that equips you with new skills and techniques to create your fundraising or marketing stories for your nonprofit
Staff, board members, volunteers, development professionals - anyone who has an opportunity to tell the story of the organization
What will you learn?
We understand the world around us through stories and your organization’s current and future stakeholders will better learn about your organization’s programs, services and impact through your stories. However, crafting and telling a fundraising, impact, recruitment or marketing story is an art. This workshop will provide you with the tools and templates required to tell your organization’s story so as to communicate your purpose while creating engagement.
By the end of this workshop you will:
Learn about different types of stories
Understand the anatomy of a story
Recognize where your nonprofit’s stories come from
Learn how to craft your story
Practice telling your story
Understand how to create a story matrix for your organization
