After the Crisis: What to Do after the Emergency Has Ended in Sioux City on Thursday, December 30, 2021
Thursday, December 30, 2021, 1600 - 1900
Students are trained and prepared to deal with situations like active shooter, school threats, lockdowns and more. They know what to do during the situations to protect themselves and others around them. After the physical emergency is finished, the mental threat remains. Join us as we discuss these situations and find ways to decompress, and relax after the threat is over. We will discuss different mindfulness techniques, ways to ground ourselves during anxiety or panic attacks, how to communicate what we are feeling, and where to turn when we need more help.

This is a free event, open to high school students. Dinner will be provided. Please obtain an event ticket so we have an accurate count of who will be joining us.
