Florida Home Partnership is a 30-year nonprofit affordable-housing developer based in Ruskin, Florida. Through innovative programs-including USDA Mutual Self-Help Housing, workforce housing, housing counseling, financial literacy, and community development-FHP has built or rehabilitated over 1,600 homes for low-to-moderate income families in Hillsborough County.

Bayou Bash is Florida Home Partnership's community celebration held in Bayou Pass Village. This free, family-friendly event brings together homeowners, local partners, vendors, and supporters for a day filled with music, fun activities, giveaways, and valuable community resources. Designed to uplift and engage residents, Bayou Bash offers housing counseling support, vendor booths, kids' activities, and opportunities to connect with organizations that serve the community. It's a celebration of homeownership, neighborhood pride, and 30 years of strengthening families in South Hillsborough County.
Bayou Bash will be on Saturday, December 13, 2025. This is a community celebration of affordable housing. Attendees will enjoy live entertainment, music, kids' activities, games, food, and exciting prize giveaways, creating a fun and welcoming atmosphere for all ages. The event also features a diverse lineup of local vendors and community partners offering valuable services-from banks and financial institutions to career support agencies, wellness providers, and neighborhood businesses.
In addition to the festivities, Bayou Bash connects families with tools to strengthen their homes and financial futures. Guests can access housing counseling resources, information on upcoming programs, and opportunities to apply for home repair assistance through partner initiatives. The event also highlights the achievements of Bayou Pass Village, celebrating more than 2000 families who have built affordable homes in the community through Florida Home Partnership's programs.
