Eggs are amazing! They’re delicious, good for you, inexpensive,probably always in your fridge, and they hit the spot breakfast, lunch or dinner. Also, everything tastes better with an egg on it! If you want to cook eggs every which way- from boiled to scrambled to omelets- why not learn to do it with proper technique and advice from a pro? Soon you’ll be making breakfast like a line cook, and you’ll impress your loved ones with your awesome egg-pan-slinging skills!

We’ll greet you with a substantial taste of shakshuka- the Middle Eastern dish of eggs poached in a sauce of tomatoes, onions, and chili peppers. Chef Instructor Bridget Charters will demo proper egg cooking techniques, then you’ll break into teams of two so you can practice your skills. We’re bringing in a whole case of eggs for this class, so get ready to crack open some egg shells!

What You’ll Learn :
-The egg basics- discussion of storage, safety, sizing, types of eggs
-Fried eggs- Bridget will demo a variety of friedeggs like over easy and sunny side up, then you’ll have a chance to cook fried eggs any way you like them, hands-on
-Techniques for boiling eggs- demo
-Techniques for poaching eggs will be demoed, then you will practice, hands-on
-Omelets- Bridget will demo an American omelet, a frittata and a French omelet, then you’ll make a French omelet, hands-on
-Technique for scrambling eggs- demo
