Managing Difficult Conversations Workshop

This workshop is focused specifically towards people who are struggling to have difficult and honest conversations with their staff, colleagues, Managers, clients or suppliers.  Coaching and mentoring techniques are great as supportive tools but sometimes we need to have more challenging and direct conversations with people about their performance, attendance or behaviour for instance.  This workshop will support you to communicate effectively, assertively define your requirements and expectations for progress.  A range of tools will support you to transfer your learning to a wide range of situations following the workshop.

In this workshop we will focus on:

- defining the challenge and what you want to achieve
- preparation is key
- language, style and purpose
- negotiating an outcome
- setting expectations for progress
- sustaining effective relationships

Maximum group size - 8 Lunch and refreshments will be provided so please get in touch if you have specific dietary requirements or preferences. Please also contact me if you have specific access requirements. Our meeting room is on the ground floor and easily accessible via the main entrance to Bridgewater House but I can provide further details of the venue if that's useful.

Bridgewater House is easily accessible by road from junction 7 of the M53.
