Snoopy and Spike joy comes to Needles on August 12 at 10:00 am as Peanuts celebrates its 75th Anniversary and Spike marks 50 years since his debut as Snoopy's brother. The headline event: a PaintFest where Peanuts and the Foundation for Hospital Art donate two murals featuring the Peanuts characters to the Colorado Medical Center. The six-panel, paint-by-numbers style murals will be painted by the hospital community (the public is welcome) followed by Peanuts-themed activities also inside the hospital.
