The Nutcracker - Presented by Ballet Theatre of Carmel Academy

Experience the magic of Tchaikovsky's "The Nutcracker", presented by the pre-professional company of Ballet Theatre of Carmel Academy. In this classic story of a girl and her beloved nutcracker doll that comes to life, Clara Von Stahlbaum and her Nutcracker Prince dance their way from a joyous holiday party at The Stahlbaum's, into an epic midnight battle between mice and toy soldiers, through the sparkling Kingdom of Snow, and into the enchanted Land of Sweets. Along the way audiences will meet all of the ballet's iconic characters including Godfather Drosselmeyer, the evil Mouse Queen, the beautiful Snow Queen, Mother Ginger and her Gingersnaps, and of course the Sugar Plum Fairy and her Cavalier!

From the stunning costumes, to the timeless music and breathtaking choreography, this a Nutcracker experience you won't soon forget!

This Nutcracker is an exquisitely staged production, while also being decidedly family-friendly! A 15 minute intermission between acts gives the youngest in the audience time to stretch and wiggle. Pre and post-show lobby activities will get everyone into the holiday spirit. Choose a delicious treat from The Land of Sweets Bake Sale or take some selfies in the beautifully decorated lobby.
