14th Annual Mikiztli: Dia de los Muertos Festival
Saturday, November 1, 2025, 1700 - 2100
Cultural Coalition is excited to announce the 14th annual MIKIZTLI: Dia de los Muertos PHX Festival, will be on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at Arizona Center in Downtown Phoenix.
Presented by Cultural Coalition and National Minority Quality Forum, this free family friendly event has expanded to offer audiences more cultural performances, art vendors, food trucks, interactive art activities, and MIKIZTLI's largest community altar or ofrenda.
Attendees of all ages will enjoy an evening of mariachi music, ballet folklòrico performances, arts and crafts activities, delicious food, face painting, and amazing art vendors.
NEW THIS YEAR:
+ Art Gallery - Attendees can visit Cultural Coalition's Mask Alive Art Collection Gallery located within the Arizona Center. This unique gallery showcases a stunning array of art and masks, many of which were created by Cultural Coalition co-founder and artistic director, Zarco Guerrero for cultural performances at the festival.
+ Calaca Cantina - For the first time ever, MIKIZTLI is offering a 21+ experience at the festival for our adult attendees to enjoy some "spirits" as we honor the spirits of our ancestors! Festival-goers who purchase tickets to the Calaca Cantina will enjoy a prime view of the main stage from the patio, receive two tickets for adult beverages to redeem at the cantina, and savor a mezcal tequila tasting from Casa Piñeda. They'll also receive a special swag bag to remember the day. Tickets at bit.ly/CalacaCantina-MIKIZTLI2025
+ Mercado Hour - Arrive early to enjoy MIKIZTLI's Mercado Hour from 4 to 5 p.m. before the official start of the festival entertainment. Beat the crowds and bring your family to come shop and support our local vendors before the fiesta begins. We'll have over 60 different artists, nonprofits, small businesses, and food vendors set up throughout the Arizona Center.
Every inch of the Arizona Center will come alive with the spirit of Dia de los Muertos engaging attendees with family-friendly art activities, a diverse array of amazing art vendors offering unique handcrafted goods, and a delicious selection of local food trucks.
One of the most significant benefits of the new location is the enhanced parking availability. Attendees will have access to ample parking at the Arizona Center garages, with validations for 2-free hours to make the experience even more convenient.
