158th Annual Calvert County Jousting Tournament

The Annual Jousting Tournament celebrates the simple family-friendly pleasures of yesteryear. The church bazaar is in the morning with a children's corner and face painting, and homemade baked goods and preserves. Head to the jousting field at noon where riders spear rings as small as 1/4" on running horses. In the afternoon, organ recitals are held in the historic church, with a traditional church supper in the parish hall, or take it boxed and ready to go. Supper features homemade fare of deviled crab, fried chicken, ham (choice of two), potato salad, apple sauce, and more.
Details: Bazaar (including a Children's Corner) 10am to 2pm. Jousting begins at noon. Organ recitals in historic Christ Church from 1pm to 4pm. Country supper in air-conditioned hall 2pm to 6pm. Boxed suppers available from noon to 6pm. Historic Port Republic One-Room Schoolhouse open house from 10am to 2 pm.
Admission free except supper: Adults $28, children ages 6-12 $12, children 5 and below free with paying adult. Children's dinners are without crab.
