2025 Augusta-CSRA Memorial Day Observance

Everyone is invited to attend the 2025 Augusta-CSRA Memorial Day Observance, this coming Monday, May 26th, to honor our nation's fallen heroes. The observance, hosted by the Military Order of the World Wars, will take place at 11:00 AM, at the All Wars Monument, on Fourth and Broad Streets, Augusta, Georgia, and guest speakers will include Mayor Garnett Johnson, Congressman Rick Allen, and Brigadier General Mark Miles, Deputy Commanding General, Cyber Center of Excellence and Fort Eisenhower.

Special music will be performed by soloist Sergeant Major Michael Culbertson, U.S. Army (Ret), "Amazing Grace" and other patriotic specials will be performed on bagpipes by Mr. Gary Hassan, a "Toast to the Flag" will be performed by Mr. Jack Goldenberg of the National Sojourners, and a 7-Volley Salute, followed by Taps, will be executed by the Fort Eisenhower Installation Support Detachment. LTC Terry Pitts, U.S. Army (Ret), Commander, Augusta Chapter, MOWW, will serve as Master of Ceremonies. There is no cost to attend.
