2026 Rose Bowl Half Marathon and 5K

Join over 10,000 participants for the 10th anniversary of the Rose Bowl Half Marathon and 5K on January 18, 2026! Participants of all ages and experience levels can enjoy scenic courses showcasing the beautiful Pasadena area. The event will also feature a Kids Run, making it an event fit for the whole family!
The Rose Bowl Half Marathon and 5K provides participants a one-of-a-kind race experience, touring participants through Pasadena and its notable landmarks like the Colorado Street Bridge, Old Town Pasadena, and Caltech. The Rose Bowl Kids Run will take kids ages three to eight on a ½ km journey that ends on the Rose Bowl field. This Rose Bowl Kids Run is a part of the Kids Run LA Challenge, which also includes the Santa Monica Classic Kids Run and LA Kids Run. Kids who complete all three fun runs will be awarded a Kids Run LA Challenge medal to celebrate their accomplishments.
The Rose Bowl Half Marathon and 5K is the second event in the three-race Conquer LA Challenge. The local challenge begins with the Santa Monica Classic in September, followed by the Rose Bowl Half Marathon and 5K in January and wraps up with the ASICS Los Angeles Marathon in March. Those who complete the challenge will receive a medal for each completed race, as well as the Conquer LA Challenge medal.

5:30 a.m.: Team TMF VIP Hospitality opens
7 a.m.: Half Marathon and 5K start time

Course Amenities
5K participants will have an aid station with water and Electrolit just before the Mile 2 marker. Half Marathon participants will have hydration stations at or near the following mile markers: 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 9, and 11. Electrolit will be available at all half marathon aid stations except Mile 2. Energy gels will be distributed at the Aid Stations near miles 4.5 and 7.5. UCLA Health Medical Stations are conveniently located along the race course.
Pacers at the 2026 Rose Bowl Half Marathon will include members of LA Road Runners, leading pace groups with 1:30 to 3-hour goal finish times.
Post-Race Celebration
Join us for a lively finish festival to celebrate your accomplishment, open to the public. The festival runs from 7:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Enjoy delicious food, music and entertainment, and relax with refreshing beverages - which includes one free beer compliments of Michelob Ultra per participant with additional drinks available for purchase for those age 21 and older with proper ID.

The Rose Bowl Half Marathon and 5K is produced by The McCourt Foundation, a nonprofit organization with a mission to cure neurological diseases while empowering communities to build a healthier world, by funding research and programs to advance neurological health, foster community wellness, and make a lasting impact. Since 1992, the McCourt Foundation has donated more than $6.7 million to neurology research and generated more than $76 million for their 125+ nonprofit charity partners.
