9TH annual NELLIE BLY AWARD FOR INVESTIGATIVE REPORTING RECEPTION AND ROUNDTABLE

This year, we are proud to honor Glenn Kessler, longtime fact-checker at The Washington Post, whose work has set a standard for accuracy and accountability in journalism. The evening will feature a timely and vital conversation on the role of the media as guardians of facts and truth. Following a welcoming reception, attendees will take part in a thought-provoking roundtable moderated by Casey Seiler, Editor of the Albany Times Union. Panelists-including Glenn Kessler, distinguished journalists, and leading scholars-will explore the challenges and responsibilities of fact-checking in today's polarized media landscape.

Presented in partnership with the League of Women Voters of Albany County and the Times Union, the program promises to be an evening of insight, dialogue, and inspiration as we celebrate the fearless spirit of investigative reporting in the tradition of Nellie Bly.
