Saturday, December 19, 2026, 1800 - 1900
Join us for an enchanting evening of classical music for strings celebrating the warmth, magic and nostalgia of the festive season.
The programme features Mozart's sparkling Divertimento in D major, Tchaikovsky's gorgeous Autumn and Andante Cantabile, alongside much-loved excerpts from The Nutcracker. Immerse yourself in Christmas spirit with a lush arrangement of Holst's magical 'In the Bleak Midwinter'. The evening culminates in a virtuosic performance of 'Winter' from legendary tango composer Astor Piazzolla's 'The Four Seasons of Buenos Aires', featuring international violinist Harriet Mackenzie "Searing intensity... captivating." The Strad.
From timeless classical favourites to atmospheric seasonal melodies the evening promises to be a wonderful way to begin your Christmas celebrations.
