Saturday, September 6, 2025, 1100 - 1700
A Family Affair Fall Art Show will feature the work of four artists, all related in some way. Jonathan Rischawy and Zoe Rischawy are father and daughter. Steven Snyder (1956-2025) and Justin Anchinsko were father and son, and Justin will soon be Jonathan's brother-in-law.

Featured works include stone sculpture and paintings in a scenic country setting. Both an indoor and outdoor show, there will be cover in case of showers.

Justin Anchinsko is a stone sculptor, learning the craft of shaping stone while working with his father, Steven Snyder in Bucks County, PA. Over the years Justin developed a deep understanding of how each individual stone's shape and texture can guide his hand to create work in a style uniquely his own. Justin started creating stone benches and stone sculpture when he discovered how polishing stone brought out its inner beauty.

Founder of Innerstone.Design, Justin "listens" to the stone before beginning a project. He believes that art and design are not just about aesthetics, but also about function and purpose. His designs for stone benches are not only beautiful, but also practical and comfortable. His stone benches, sculpture and birdbaths fit beautifully into natural landscapes. His work is heavily influenced by his experiences as a father and love of nature. While comparisons to his father's work are inevitable, Justin's artistry stands on its own.

Jonathan Rischawy is an American painter working in an impressionist-representational style, saying, "My works depict everyday scenes and structures with an emphasis on light, line, repetition, and strong angles. I'm inspired by the works of Edward Hopper, Henri Toulouse-Lautrec, and Edgar Degas."

Jonathan began his art career as a Graphic Designer, working for a variety of clients, such as Fujifilm, and Johnson and Johnson, and later started his own design company. While his design business was successful, he found the "business" part taking more and more of his time. This lack of creativity weighed on him. When his children were still in grade school, he had an opportunity to teach an after-school art program, and loved it. He immediately began the transition to becoming a certified art teacher. This was also around the time when he began painting more frequently, and studying fine art at the Academy of Art University under William Maughan. He's been teaching now for over 15 years, and truly loves sharing and making art with his students.

Jonathan's goal as an artist is to bring the often unnoticed beauty of the everyday and common to the forefront. An unknown artist once said, "There are so many details in life that we just don't notice. Good artists look. Great artists look longer." Jonathan thinks we need to slow down and look longer.

Even from a young age, Zoe Rischawy has always been exposed to art, since her father, Jonathan Rischawy, is also an artist. Zoe has a creative and adventurous look on life and can work with many different mediums, including acrylic, watercolor, ink, pencil, photography, gauche, and charcoal.

Helping other people to make their businesses attractive to potential customers and to make lives more beautiful are some of Zoe's goals. If you need artwork for your business or home, she can help, and make a custom piece of art perfect for your situation, whether that's an illustration or a photograph.

Zoe says, "I was drawn to people and what they were doing around me, which is what I value most in my photographs. I love to take pictures of strangers living their lives around me for that split second it takes to snap a photo. These people are silently living their lives and doing everyday things in these environments. I found them all interesting for different reasons and chose to capture the beauty of them in that moment. I think these people being framed as a work of art gives the images a new meaning and creates an atmosphere that wasn't originally there." Zoe aspires to make universal statements of the human condition from the recording of ordinary and often fleeting moments.

Zoe is currently an art teacher in New Jersey and strives to inspire young artists to create and express their individuality.

Steven Snyder Artist Statement: "My life is an association with rocks. I feel drawn to pick up every one of them." Issues of love, commitment, family and spirit figure heavily in Steven's work. Simple form, and the humor with which they were often presented, made his pieces easily accessible, and quietly compelling.

Steven Snyder (1956-2025) entered stone sculpting through his work as a stone mason which began in 1976. Fascinated by early Pennsylvania stone architecture, the diversity of indigenous stone in Bucks County, and the tradition of stone carving and shaping in this region, he began exploring form and texture through simple carvings in native stone. Snyder was featured in Fine Homebuilding Magazine, Country Living Magazine, and also appeared on HGTV's "Our Place."
