A Taste of Honey

At A Taste of Honey, local beekeepers have much to offer: complimentary tastings of honey from regional apiaries, a variety of bee products for sale, including honey, beeswax candles, propolis tinctures, and honey-infused skincare items There will also be a children's activity table with crafts, bee-themed learning stations, and a hands-on lip balm workshop using beeswax. A live bee observation frame (weather permitting) and many raffles for gift baskets and bee-related prizes (winners need not be present) will also be part of the fun.

"This event is all about sharing the sweet results of our members' hard work and educating the public on the vital role bees play in our ecosystem," says Candace Casados, President of the West Shore Beekeepers Association. "Whether you're curious about beekeeping or
simply love honey, you'll find something at this event to buzz about."

About the West Shore Beekeepers Association: The West Shore Beekeepers Association meets the second Thursday of each month from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm at the First Methodist Church of Scottville (114 West State Street).
