AfricAmerican Breast Cancer Allnc "Feel the Pink in Black and White Gala" Nov. 15, Metropolitan Blrm
Saturday, November 15, 2025, 1730 - 2130
The African American Breast Cancer Alliance is pleased to announce its Feel the Pink in Black and White! gala to be held Saturday, November 15, 2025, at the Metropolitan Ballroom, Golden, Valley, MN, 5:30 PM.
The theme of this elegant black-tie event is "Shine. Share. Hope!" Join us for a fun evening to celebrate breast cancer patients, survivors, courage, hope, and the power of community! All cancer type survivors, men and women are welcome to attend. We will feel the Pink of inspiration, life, love, and resilience of the many bold, brave breast cancer fighters, remember the warriors that were lost in the battle and thank our many associates and supporters. We are in this fight together!
This year marks the 35th year of the African American Breast Cancer Alliance, Inc. (AABCA) fulfilling the need for breast cancer awareness, education, action, early detection and treatment, networking, and support for Black Americans in Minnesota and nationally. Guests will enjoy a social hour, dinner program, inspirational stories, entertainment and afterparty with DJ Chaz Millionaire. The event will feature awards for some Twin Cities organizations that have shared AABCA’s goals of community cancer education, outreach and support for cancer survivors, families, and friends.
Our guest speaker, Minnesota's own, Dr. Tonya Jackman Hampton, EdD, award winning executive, speaker and author, will share her personal insights as a breast cancer survivor, bolstered by her many years of executive leadership, and inspirational book, "The Myth of the Fearless Leader, Finding Strength Through Fear" that highlights her journeys in business and life.
Whether you're a cancer survivor, caregiver, healthcare professional, family, friend or simply a supporter of the mission, this event invites the community to come together in compassion, education, and strength because breast cancer does not discriminate, it affects all of us, every day, not just in October.
So, dress up in your elegant Black and White attire, Met Gala style, and Feel the Pink in Black and White! We will Shine. Share. Hope! Be a part of the night! Be a part of the mission!
Special discount tickets are available for cancer survivors. For more information, tickets or sponsorships, go to: www.aabcainc.org/gala or call (612) 462-6813.
