Alpha Course London: Free Film Series on Life, Faith and Meaning
Tuesday, September 15, 2026 -- Tuesday, November 24, 2026, 1900 - 2100
Got questions about life, faith or meaning?
Alpha is a free 11-week film series for anyone who wants to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed, open setting. Starting Tuesday 15 September at 7PM, join us at The Liberty Church in Woodford, London, or take part online.
Each week begins with food for those attending in person, followed by an episode from the Alpha Film Series and a conversation around that week's question. Topics include who Jesus is, prayer, purpose, the Bible, faith and how Christianity relates to everyday life.
You do not need to be Christian, attend church or know the Bible. You can ask questions, share your view, disagree or simply listen. Alpha is designed for people who are curious, sceptical, returning to faith or just want some space to think more deeply about what they believe.
This course is part of Beyond Festival at The Liberty Church, but you do not need to have attended the Celebration Festival or The Liberty Church before. If this is your first interaction with us, you are just as welcome.
What to expect:
- Free food for in-person guests
- Engaging films from the Alpha Film Series
- Open, informal conversation
- Space to ask questions without judgement
- In-person or online attendance
- Free registration for the full 11-week course
Come on your own or bring someone with you. There is no pressure to speak, agree with everyone or arrive with a particular point of view.
If you have been looking for an Alpha Course in London, want to explore Christianity, or simply want somewhere to think and talk about life's bigger questions, Alpha is a good place to start.
