An evening with Tom Allen
Saturday, May 23, 2026, 1900 - 2030
We're thrilled to welcome the beloved comedian, presenter and best selling author, Tom Allen, to the Wirral to celebrate the publication of his much anticipated debut novel, Common Decency.
Praised by a whole host of writers and comedians including Jo Brand, Jeff Goldblum, Claudia Winkleman, Terry Deary and Jacqueline Wilson, Common Decency is Tom's well crafted first fiction offering, told with his trademark acerbic wit.
Join us on Saturday 23rd May at 7pm when Tom will be in conversation about the book, before answering questions from the audience. The event is being held at Hope Church, Station Road, Hoylake, CH47 4AA. Tickets are £24 and include a pre-signed copy of Common Decency (rrp £ 20). Doors will open at 6:30pm for a 7pm start.
Do get in touch if you have any questions regarding accessibility, and we'll do our best to help, and please note Tom will not be signing books at the end of the event.
We're incredibly excited to welcome Tom to the Wirral, and look forward to seeing you there!
