Appalachian Heritage Quilt Show and Holiday Boutique

This quilt show is unique to our area in the variety of offerings you can enjoy. There will be a quality quilt show with over 100 quilts in 13 different categories. This quilt show is open to any local guild members and People's Choice ribbons will be awarded based on participant voting. Bed turnings will display and discuss a dozen vintage/antique quilts and short quilting demonstrations will take place during each day. A Holiday Bazaar and Bake Sale will allow you to shop for handmade gifts and sweets for the upcoming holidays. A Crafters' Corner is your spot for bargain shopping for quality quilting fabrics, books, tools, etc. all centered around quilting and crafting. Waldroup's Sewing Machine Repair will also be present to clean and do minor repairs on your sewing machine while you enjoy the quilt show.
In addition to the show, holiday boutique, and crafter's corner you may be lucky enough to go home with the beautiful queen size quilt displayed on our show promotion postcard. This is a new quilt made by a local quilter and every attendee will be given the opportunity to take home this prize.
