Arrowhead Towne Center Partners with Vitalant to Host Community Blood Drive Sept. 19

Giving back to the community can take many forms, but donating blood can, quite literally, give life. Each day, Vitalant needs 600 donors to maintain the blood supply requirements of hospitals across Arizona. You can join Arrowhead Towne Center in meeting this demand by participating in a blood drive on Saturday, Sept. 19. Vitalant's Mobile Bloodmobile will be parked on the North side of the center near AMC Theatres from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

You don't need to know your blood type to donate blood, and there is a critical need for all blood donors of all blood types in Arizona. The blood drive at Arrowhead Towne Center will offer appointments for common Whole Blood donations as well as Power Red donations, in which donors give two units of red blood cells in a single session.

After donating, participants can relax in the recovery area and make a stop in the Food Court for a light snack to replenish fluids and nutrients before making a visit to their favorite stores.

The West Valley's premier shopping destination, Arrowhead Towne Center features over 180 stores for the whole family, making it convenient for local shoppers to visit their favorite retailers, including Aerie, American Eagle, The Apple Store, Coach, Fabletics, Finish Line, James Avery, Kendra Scott, Levi's, lululemon and Sephora, as well as anchor department stores like Macy's and Dillard's that bring on-trend brands like Free People, Johnny Was, Psycho Bunny, Creed and more to the West Valley. The retail destination also offers a selection of restaurants like Chompie's and Sizzle Korean Barbeque, and popular fast dining options including Chipotle, Johnny Rockets, Panda Express and Pickleman's Gourmet Cafe.
