Artist Sergey Stepanenko to Present 70th Jubilee Solo Art Experience

Artist Sergey Stepanenko presents a special exhibition featuring works from the past decade. Known for his expressive palette knife technique, Stepanenko creates richly textured paintings that bring movement and depth to each piece. The exhibition highlights two distinct series: His widely recognized "Homage" series reinterprets masterworks through a contemporary lens-layering color, light, and movement while preserving the spirit of the original. His "Traveling" series captures the atmosphere and energy of place, drawing heavily from the architecture, history, and character of old European cities.
This limited-time showcase offers an intimate look at a seasoned artist's evolving style and global influences.

The upcoming SPAG exhibition not only celebrates Stepanenko's 70th birthday but also highlights the continued vitality of Norwalk's local arts scene and the role of artist communities like SPAG in fostering creative exchange in Fairfield County.
