Austin Symphonic Band: "Classics!"

Join us for a breathtaking concert band performance! From the drama of von Suppe's "Light Cavalry Overture" to the radiance of Daniel Montoya Jr.'s "Shimmering Sky," this program is packed with power, poetry and passion. Feel the intensity of Julie Giroux's "Culloden" and the power of Tschesnokoff's timeless "Salvation is Created."

After a brief intermission, we march back with the charming "Inglesina" by Davide Delle Cese, followed by the monumental "First Suite in Eb" by Gustav Holst, a cornerstone of the wind band repertoire. To close the night, the sultry rhythms of Arturo Marquez's "Danzon No. 2" will leave your heart dancing!
