Science fun and excitement awaits at the 12th Bay Area Science Festival with 120+ mind-blowing hands-on experiments, games, demonstrations, behind the scenes lab tours, film screenings and science talks. Bring the whole family to race robots, marvel at live leopard sharks and a 30-foot-long whale skeleton, see your own brainwaves, sit in a real military airplane cockpit, roast a marshmallow by sun-power, participate in a science podcast, and so much more. BASF is FREE to attend. Organized by UCSF, the one-day festival is Saturday, October 25, 11AM-4PM at UCSF’s Mission Bay Campus at Koret Quad’s expansive lawns, walkways, pine grove and renowned educational, medical and biotech research facilities - one block from Chase Center.
