Best In Show Benefit Screening for SitStayRead - August 27, 2026 from 7:00 - 9:00 pm at The Davis

Join SitStayRead for some late summer belly laughs and to honor the late, great comedienne Catherine O’Hara. Raffle and movie tickets support no-cost canine-assisted literacy enrichment in K-2nd grade Chicago Public Schools in 2026-27. Be part of the effort to make Chicago a 100% literate city! Meet staff, volunteer Book Buddies, Certified Reading Assistance Dog Teams, and our sponsors in the lobby and adjacent Sojourn Cocktail Lounge before the film. Learn more about SitStayRead's evidence-based literacy work, closing literacy gaps, and about individual and group volunteer opportunities for the 2026-27 school year.

Sponsorship opportunities available; please contact development@sitstayread.org for more information.

Ticket sales help underwrite classroom residencies, one-time family literacy events, and get new books into kids' hands and home libraries!

- General Admission tickets ($20)

- VIP tickets that include popcorn, candy, a drink, 5 raffle tickets, and premium seats! ($75)
