Blues Heritage Festival

The Kennedy Park Fiesta Area is handicapped accessible and has free parking. Please enter off S. La Cholla Blvd. just north of W. Ajo Way. This is an all ages live music event and youth act Garrett James and the Wanderers will start. Bring chairs, sealed water bottles, hats and suncreen. Shade structures can be erected behind the sound booth, weighted down for safety. The Blues Festival will headline Sue Foley from Austin, TXand Levi Platero from the Navajo Nation. Some of the best bands in Arizona blues will play, including local favorites Heather "Lil Mama" Hardy, the Xcelerators, Big Daddy D and the Dynamites, and the Nico Barberan Band. Nico was born in Chile but fell in love with the blues and has played in the Chicago blues scene.
Food trucks, beer and wine, and soft drinks will be available.
