The Friends of the South Harwich Meetinghouse and the Harwich Historical Society are thrilled to jointly present Richard Pickering's "Bringing William Brewster to Life," a Mayflower Pilgrim Transformation! Join us on Sunday, November 2nd at 3 pm at the beautifully restored 1836 South Harwich Meetinghouse.
Following Richard's performance, please join us for a lovely reception featuring period victuals and tea!

COME MEET PILGRIM WILLIAM BREWSTER!
Journey back in time to early Plymouth and meet the Pilgrim William Brewster! Watch as Plimoth Patuxet Deputy Executive Director and historian Richard Pickering becomes William Brewster. Beginning in modern dress, he will describe the Pilgrims' Mayflower voyage, exploration of Cape Cod in November and December 1620, and the harrowing (almost fatal) adventure that led them to select Plymouth as their settlement site.
Then, right before your eyes, with historical clothing and artifacts provided by Plimoth Patuxet Museums,he will transform into Mayflower passenger William Brewster. As an eyewitness, Brewster will describe the Pilgrims' trials in founding Plymouth Colony. During the Q AND A portion of the presentation, audience members can direct their questions either to Richard Pickering or William Brewster and he will go in-and-out of character.
This is a one of a kind presentation he has given at the United Nations among many other distinguished places!
