Champions of the Wild Alaska Zoo Gala

Join us at the Alaska Zoo for the 2025 "Champions of the Wild", our annual summer fundraising gala, on June 18th. Advance tickets are required online and seating is limited. Check-in begins at 5pm, the meal is served at 6pm and the zoo is open until 10pm. We are celebrating 55 years of community and wildlife service. We provide care and homes for wildlife in need, as determined by wildlife agency staff. Spring and summer are expensive times for our nonprofit zoo as we take in orphaned and injured wildlife who need emergency veterinary care from our animal team, around-the-clock monitoring, special nutrition and facilities. Your presence and contributions to the zoo at this event through tickets, auction items and donations will help us to cover some of these expenses. We truly appreciate your support.

Guests will enjoy a catered dinner by Dianne's Wild Fork Catering with wine pairings in partnership with AK Wine Grotto. The menu for the evening: Appetizers (Hot Artichoke Spinach Wontons, Ahi Tuna Poke Nachos, Salad (Fresh Caprese Salad with Balsamic Reduction), Entrées (Cedar Plank Halibut, Filet Steak w/whipped Beurre Jaune Polenta and Broccolini), Vegetarian/Vegan Option (Quinoa and Tofu-stuffed Pepper and Grilled Vegetables), Dessert (Apple Rose Tartlets with Salted Caramel Sauce).

Live music will be performed by Jared Woods. Our emcee for the evening will be Heather Doncaster with our live auction conducted by Dan Newman of Alaska Premier Auctions. We hope you will join us for this enchanting evening on the zoo lawn and trails!
