Chase River and Cinnabar Valley Heritage Day

The Chase River and Cinnabar Valley Community Association invites you to a free-entry family event filled with live entertainment, informative displays, and fun activities for all ages. Explore the rich heritage of our neighbourhood, listen to live music, watch some historical fencing, play with miniature goats, enjoy some treats from the food trucks while the kids play in the kids zone, or try your luck at various raffles. The tarot card reader might offer some clues how to win. We are also looking for the best apple pie baker in town. Rev up your rolling pin and start baking. All pies must be dropped off by 2pm to enter the contest. There will be prizes for the top 3 bakers.
There will be performances by the duo Woodstick, the Vesna Ukrainian Dancers and Choir, and the Comox Valley Combat Guild. Superior Farms from Lantzville will bring their miniature goats and will have a planting activity for the kids in cooperation with Cinnabar Valley Farms.
