Chicago’s City Lights Orchestra in La Grange Park - Free Outdoor Concert

Plymouth Place is proud to once again lead the way in bringing people together through music, community spirit and summertime fun. On Sunday, September 7 from 4:30 to 6:00 PM, the Second Annual Sounds of Summer Concert will light up Memorial Park, in La Grange Park, with a live performance by Chicago’s renowned City Lights Orchestra, conducted by Rich Daniels and featuring special guest vocalists-including Irish tenor and Plymouth Place’s own Paddy Homan.

Held just steps from the Plymouth Place campus, this free, family-friendly event is made possible through the generous support of Plymouth Place, the Village of La Grange Park and the La Grange Park Park District. This program is also made possible through an anonymous donotation in memory of music teacher Bessie Ryan - whose passion for teaching music lives on through such community programming.
