Participants also will experience the unique and thrilling finish line located at the 50-yard line of the University of Illinois' historic Gies Memorial Stadium.

The Christie Clinic Illinois Race Weekend announced its 2027 theme: "Every Mile Tells A Story," chosen by organizers to showcase how every participant arrives at the start line for a different reason, all taking a unique journey to race day that becomes a defining chapter in their life.
