St Mary's Churchmouse Giant Christmas Sale, December 6, 2025, 10am to 2pm, 1701 Elgin Road, Oak Bay.
Of course, you'll find the usual thousands of books on the shelves and in the pews-plus we're delighted to feature craft tables and preserves lovingly made by local artisans, hot beverages and treats. Live music and a silent auction for exceptional volumes round out the offering.
You will also meet some of our partner charity organizations, many of whom have special offerings as well:
- The Food Bank at St John the Divine
- Threshold Housing Society
- Our Place Society
All this, to live music as you browse or chat with neighbours. Come help us celebrate the season of Light and Peace and Joy!

Churchmouse Books is run entirely by a dedicated group of volunteers who will be happy to help you find the perfect volume for your next read. All books are available in exchange for a donation; donations are used to benefit local charities.
