Comedy Oakland's NYE Tournament Of Champions

COMEDY MACHINE is a one-night, three-round comedy tournament featuring eight comedians all competing to be chosen as the champion. At COMEDY MACHINE, comedians literally live and die by the fans. Hosted weekly by comedian Ira Summer, COMEDY MACHINE promises to leave you on the ropes with laughter--and loudly cheering for your favorites!

On December 31st, we bring the best of the best together from our shows in Oakland for a Tournament of Champions. This show will include the Finalists from the earlier COMEDY MACHINE Oakland shows throughout 2023.

Comedy Oakland, 2016-2023 winner of "Best Comedy Night" in East Bay Express Reader's Poll features funny, diverse, industry pros alongside up-and-coming comedians. Our comedians have featured on TV, Radio, Comedy Festivals, Late Night Talk Shows, won competitions, and have performed on every habitable continent!

Unlike comedy clubs, there are no drink minimums at our shows, but food and drinks are served. There are no tolls to pay and free street parking is available around the block. A comedian owned, comedian run show, we've been featured in SF Chronicle, ABC7, KPFA 94.1FM, SF Examiner, and East Bay Express.
