Community Conversation - Authentic Voices of the Asian Community, November 19, 2024 5:00pm - 7:30pm

            Our goal is to bring together a panel of voices to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing Asian communities in Ohio. Topics will include mental health and stigma, economic opportunities, discrimination and racism, and the challenges of immigration and integration in Ohio.  This event is presented by Multiethnic Advocates for Cultural Competence (MACC) and Dr. Cora Munoz, PhD, R.N., President of the Ohio Asian American Health Coalition and Professor Emeritus of Capital University. Our panelists include representatives from the Philippines, Cambodia, Korea, Vietnam, and Bhutanese-Nepali.  The event will be in-person as well as live streamed. Light refreshments will be services.
