Community Town Hall on Rising Utility Costs
Wednesday, November 12, 2025, 1730 - 1900
With the Arizona Public Service (APS) rate case underway, consumer organizations including Arizona Public Interest Research Group (Arizona PIRG) Education Fund, and the statewide anti-poverty nonprofit Wildfire, along with the State's residential consumer advocate, the Residential Utility Consumer Office, will be in Yuma on Wednesday, November 12, to help residents learn about APS' proposal to raise customer bills and hear how increased utility bills could impact you and/or your family. In addition, the organizations will provide information on how to make your voice heard as well as resources to reduce your bill. The Community Town Hall will be moderated by KAWC and held on Wednesday, November 12 from 5:30-7:00 p.m. at the Main Yuma Library, 2951 S. 21st Dr., Yuma.
Light refreshments will be provided. The organizations request that you RSVP at yumarates.eventbrite.com or by calling (602)832-7570; however, walk-ins are welcome.
