Curtis' Cancer Battle
Friday, January 9, 2026 -- Saturday, January 31, 2026, 0900 - 1700
On Christmas Eve, one of our dear members, Curtis Bradley, was diagnosed with a mass in his abdomen that the doctors said was most likely cancer. He had been struggling for several months with stomach problems when they eventually became more severe. It prompted a trip to the emergency department where the doctors discovered the mass.
While he was there, they also did a procedure to place a stent to help his gallbladder drain and the doctors also did several biopsies. He was then discharged. The biopsy came back positive that the mass is cancerous and he was diagnosed with duodenal cancer, and it has spread to the surrounding lymph nodes. Since the sickness started until now, he has lost over forty-five pounds, and he is unable to eat regularly due to pain and other complications relating to the mass and its location.
Curtis is married to his wife Shelly, and they have two amazing kids and four beautiful grandchildren. Curtis is not just a family man but also the primary provider for him and his wife. He runs a local business, and he also recently started driving a local school bus.
In times like these, it is a great opportunity for the church and community to shine by standing together in strength and compassion to fight this battle against Cancer.
We kindly request your prayers for the affected family as they navigate this challenging time. Our prayers have power to uplift and provide strength, comfort and healing.
Additionally, we ask for your support in any way possible. Whether it's offering words of encouragement, extending a helping hand, or sharing resources -your contribution can make a tremendous difference!
No act of kindness is too small, and through our collective efforts, we can bring solace and alleviate the burden on this family's shoulders.
Please join us in prayer and extend your support. Share this information with your friends, families, and communities to create a network of love and support far-reaching and profound.
