FREE! INTERACTIVE ARTS-BASED EVENT
Greetings from Dee, at Dyslexia FeelGood Funday (DFGF) which is a vibrant and dynamic organization, born in August 2023, dedicated to hosting a myriad of FREE interactive, arts-based events, both online and in-person, for all age groups.
We've already whetted appetites with our Taster sessions, offering a sneak peek into what can be expected at our main event - the Dyslexia FeelGood Funday Festival. This FREE! spectacular day is set to unfurl on Saturday, 9 March, at Anson Primary School, 12 noon - 8 pm, in Willesden, NW2 4AB.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
The Funday promises an array of enticing activities. Relish delectable food to purchase, participate in engaging workshops, and explore drop-in stalls. Learn the magic of transforming repurposed household items into treasures through the innovative arts and crafts workshop. Immerse yourself in the ‘Your Journey' spoken word poetry workshop, a harmonious blend of art, music, and song.
Get your groove on with exhilarating salsa dance lessons, accompanied by the pulsating rhythms of a 12-piece live salsa band. For our youngest attendees, we have special sessions where they can engage in dress-up, music, song, movement, dance, and enthralling storytelling. And let's not forget the fun, improv, theatre games and drama workshop!

This is more than just a Funday Festival, it's an opportunity for dyslexics and neurodivergent families and individuals to unwind, learn, connect, gain confidence, and most importantly, have heaps of FUN!
