Set amidst the natural beauty of Firefly Hill's woodland trails, this immersive experience invites nature lovers of all ages to reconnect with the wild through a series of creative, interactive activities. Visitors will enjoy self-guided exploration featuring:
- 32-Animal Forest Scavenger Hunt, spotlighting endangered wildlife found in Connecticut
- Outdoor Art Installations, including an endangered species "quilt" and six striking 10-foot banners depicting endangered birds
- A whimsical Butterfly Selfie Station
Beyond discovery and play, Endangered Species Month offers meaningful education. Visitors will learn actionable steps they can take to support conservation efforts, ensuring the event not only entertains but also empowers. Through art and storytelling, Endangered Species Month creates a space where people can experience wonder, while also being reminded that each of us has a role in protecting the creatures that share our planet.
