FAT TUESDAY at Jiggs Landing

Get ready to let the good times roll as Jiggs Landing transforms into a lively Mardi Gras playground this Fat Tuesday, February 17th! The celebration kicks off at noon and runs until 6 PM, filling the grounds with the unmistakable spirit of New Orleans-bright colors, festive energy, and a whole lot of fun. With the stunning views of Ward Lake as your backdrop, you can soak in the scenery, imagine classic paddleboats gliding across the water, or even rent one of our mini paddle boats to join the action yourself.

As the afternoon unfolds, live Mardi Gras music will keep the celebration going strong, setting the perfect tone for dancing, laughter, and revelry. When the music winds down, nature takes over with a breathtaking sunset that paints the sky in brilliant color-an unforgettable way to close out the festivities.

Prepare your taste buds for an authentic culinary journey with our house‑made Mardi Gras favorites. Indulge in savory jambalaya, rich and aromatic gumbo, and the iconic king cake-be sure to keep an eye out for the baby. And for a fun twist, try our playful version of a complementary classic grasshopper cocktail. All food and drinks will be available for purchase throughout the event.

To fully embrace the tradition, come dressed in your favorite shades of purple, green, and gold. Festive beads and masks will be available to help you get into the Mardi Gras spirit and add to the vibrant atmosphere.
