FREE Dance and Circus Day (Workshops and Show)

Join us for an afternoon of dance, circus, and creativity for the whole family! Presented by Charlotte Cirque and Dance Center, this special community event is made possible through Culture Blocks, a community partnership funded by Mecklenburg County.

Schedule of Events
Creative Dance Workshop (Ages 5–9) – 1:00–1:30 PM
Get your imagination and body moving with improvisation and “build your own dance” activities.

Partner Acrobatic Workshop (Ages 10+) – 1:30–2:00 PM
Discover the fun of balance and trust in this introductory partner acrobatics class. No experience needed.

Dance and Circus Throughout History Show (All Ages) – 2:00–3:00 PM
Enjoy a high-energy, 50-minute performance that brings history and culture to life through breathtaking circus and dance.

What to Bring: Comfortable clothes you can move in, sneakers or bare feet, and a water bottle.
