Feed My Starving Children MobilePack™
Friday, July 17, 2026 -- Saturday, July 18, 2026, 0900 - 1630
Every year millions of children die from preventable causes such as pneumonia, diarrhea, malaria and undernutrition. Today, hunger still causes nearly half of deaths in children under 5 years old. (UNICEF/WHO/World Bank Joint Child Malnutrition Estimates, 2021 Edition)
Through a Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) MobilePack™ event at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church on Friday, July 17th, and Saturday, July 18th our community will be responding to the cries of those in need by producing 100,000 nutritious meals for children around the world. The MannaPack™ meal contains rice, soy, dehydrated vegetables, and a specialized vitamin/mineral mix.
We invite you to join us! We’re looking for 500 volunteers to help with this MobilePack™. Adults and children 5 years and older will measure and scoop ingredients, seal bags and prepare boxes for shipping. A huge impact is made in just a two hour packing session.
Volunteer registration is required. Sign up at https://give.fmsc.org/gloriadei
There are 3 volunteer packing shifts available:
- Friday, July 17: 1:00-3:00 PM
- Saturday, July 18: 9:00-11:00 AM
- Saturday, July 18: 12:00-2:00 PM
