FernFest is bigger and better than ever!
Fernwood Neighbourhood House brings you FernFest 2025—a celebration of community, music, and arts. It’s all happening on Friday, June 13 from 5-10pm and Saturday, June 14 from 11:30am to 10pm in Fernwood Square, at the Fernwood Community Centre, and beyond. It’s here for its 28th year! Join the fun as FernFest showcase’s local musicians and artists you may not have heard of but are bound to love.
There is something for everyone at FernFest. New, this year there will be more space for everyone to enjoy FernFest—we have added a stage behind the Fernwood Community Centre in Stevenson Park with live music on Friday night and all day Saturday! Come check it out and dance with us. There are live performances by over 40 bands, musicians, and performers on our 3 stages (Fernwood Square, Big Fernwood at Stevenson Park, and Little Fernwood at 1923 Fernwood Road), delicious food vendors and cold drinks, an awesome online auction with great items donated by local businesses. On Saturday there will be booths from 85+ local makers in our artisan market, non-profits, kid’s activities, games, art activities, bubbles, magic, workshops, surprises, a wishing tree for you to share your dreams and wishes. Join us at FernFest and celebrate with a whole bunch of your best neighbours and friends.

Willie, High Society, Hank Pine, Garden City Soul Club Dance Party, Lək̓ʷəŋən Traditional Dancers, Joe Abbott, Drama Queen, Devours, MEGGO, Paris Pick and the Pricks, Poppa Don Gernie, HOT POT, Pony Gold, PONCHO YBF, Grapefruit Is Impossible, PINDN, GETTWETT , The Thunes, Ghostly Hounds, Zoubi and the Sea, Base Collective, TRIPPYCALS, Greg Bonbon, g̱a̱lg̱apoła, The Phigs, Dead Summer, Baby Boy and the Earthly Delights, Vic High RandB Band, Luna Land, Mariachi Sin Frontera and Fiesta Latina Ballet Folklorico, Thistle, Slim Sandy and The Hillbilly Boppers, Fern Friends (Our Youth Jam Session Band), Figrin Sam, Fernwood Open Mic, African Dance with Sabur Abdulai, OK, DOPE Improv, Drag Hour with Chaz Avery and Friends, The Great Giffoni, and MCs Kady Savard, Benji Duke, and Regan Chevalier-Shortt.
FernFest is free and everyone is welcome! Your donations keep it going and support Fernwood Neighbourhood House—the charity that puts this event on. Please walk, bike, skate, or bus down to the event as parking in very limited. There is free bike valet available during event hours located off of Fernwood Road at the basketball courts at Vic High.
