Filmmaker Talk: Breanne Williamson
Saturday, April 25, 2026, 1530 - 1630
Breanne is the creator of the LGBTQ+ web series "Basement 51" (filmed right here in her parents' North Van basement!), as well as the popular short films "Coming Out" and "Aging Out" (available on YouTube). Through her work, she has built a substantial following as a social media personality and 2SLGBTQ+ advocate.
In this talk, Breanne will share her journey to becoming an independent filmmaker, discuss her creative process, and offer practical advice for young filmmakers pursuing their dreams.
Perfect for aspiring filmmakers, comedy fans, and anyone interested in the indie film world!
Note: this event will take place in the Community Meeting Room prior to the screenings of the North Shore Teen Film Festival.
