Fredericksburg Youth Ultimate League

The Fredericksburg Youth Ultimate League (FYUL) provides coaching and instruction to kids in Middle School and High School regardless of skill Level. Our goal is to grow the sport in our area, and our schools, as an alternative to the traditional sports. Ultimate is a sport that not only builds motor skills, strength and endurance, but social skills as well due to the emphasis on Spirit of the Game and self officiating. Here is what you can expect:

Weekly practice/game play Monday evenings at Pratt Park from 5:30 to 7:00pm
Instruction and coaching from USAU certified coaches and experienced players.
Kids will be broken out into groups based on age and numbers.
Kids with significant experience or skills may "play up" with coach and parent permission.
Only equipment required is a pair of cleats (soccer cleats are best).
FYUL is a "mixed league" not gender matching.
Practices focus on building skills. Game play is a large part of each practice.
The number of "teams" depends on the registration. In other words teams may be new each practice based on the number of registrants and the age breakdown.
No experience necessary...
The base registration is $25 for all 10 weeks! Please pay what you can. FYUL does not turn anyone away and we provide 2 jerseys and a disc for every player regardless of their ability to pay.

FYUL is a 501c3 which means any amount you wish to donate over the base price of $25 is tax deductible and greatly appreciated!

Families that are unable to pay for base registration are encourage to create an account, register their players, and then reach out to us at fyuldisc@gmail.com to request a waiver of the registration fee.
