Free Oral Cancer Screenings in Bakersfield

In honor of Oral, Head and Neck Cancer Awareness Month, Kern Oral and Facial Surgery will offer free oral cancer screenings April 13 and April 16 from 8 am to 5 pm. To participate, arrive at the clinic on the designated days and times, and ask for a free cancer screening. The practice is located at 500 Old River Road, Suite #275, Bakersfield, Calif., 93311. The screenings are part of a joint partnership with the Head and Neck Cancer Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness of oral, head and neck cancer. Kern Oral and Facial Surgery is a full-scope oral and maxillofacial surgery practice located in Bakersfield. It is led by Alan Esla, DDS, MD, who is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon, the highest credential that can be obtained in the specialty, according to the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
