Funhouse Comedy Club - Comedy Night in Blisworth, Northants February 2024

Funhouse Comedy returns to the Walnut Tree Inn, Blisworth on Thursday February 29th for a great night of laughter.

Topping the bill is Michael Shafar one of Australia's hottest comedy stars with numerous TV appearances in his homeland. He is now ready to take the UK comedy circuit by storm. After swapping law for comedy he then embarked on a journey to mend ties with his Jewish mother, succeeding to some extent. His hilarious personal tales leave everyone wanting for more.

Opening the night will be the compelling and frank comedian and writer, Daliso Chaponda who came 3rd in ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ in 2017 and then landed himself his own stand-up comedy show on BBC Radio 4. Hailing from Malawi, where his father is a government minister, he started his comedy career in Canada with the much-admired one man show ‘Feed This Black Man’. With his ability to talk about anything from politics and religion to romance, he amuses his audiences with his distinctive accent and unique outlook on the world.

Also appearing is the warm and witty Kris Davies, a wonderful storyteller and musical genius.

Compere for the night will be James Cook with his sharp tongue and dry sense of humour he previously worked as a presenter on commercial radio stations, went on air with A-ha and presented Lenny Henry with his ‘Walk of Fame’.
