Funhouse Comedy Club - Comedy Night in Blisworth, Northants May 2025

Funhouse Comedy returns to the Walnut Tree Inn, Blisworth on Thursday May 29th for a great night of laughter.

Topping the bill is the affable Ben Norris who has appeared on TV's 'Never Mind the Buzzcocks' and 'Mock the Week' as well as being the voice on campaigns for Carling and Emirates. Once when he was the warm-up man for 'Mock the Week' he had to stand in for Frankie Boyle who was rushed to hospital. A natural comedian, his sharp mind-set and supply of clever lines are delivered with warmth and exuberance.

Opening the night will be British Comedian of the Year Finalist, the incredible Scott Bennett who has appeared on 'The Royal Variety Performance' and 'Live at the Apollo', had his own Radio 4 show and is widely tipped in the industry as on the brink of the big time. He was also runner up Best Show Nominee Leicester Comedy Festival and support for Michael McIntyre, Rob Brydon and Micky Flanagan in arenas This loveable rising star enthrals the crowd with his warm and engaging delivery, he is a Yorkshire live wire with an undeniable no nonsense logic, who was busy entertaining people through the lockdown, with his 'Stand Up From The Shed' online show.

Also appearing is the versatile and quick thinking Barnaby Slater, a sharp gag-smith and story-teller.

Compere for the night will be James Cook with his sharp tongue and dry sense of humour he previously worked as a presenter on commercial radio stations, went on air with A-ha and presented Lenny Henry with his 'Walk of Fame'.
