Funhouse Comedy Club - Comedy Night in Leek October 2025

Funhouse Comedy Club is back at Foxlowe Arts Centre, Leek on Thurs Oct 2nd for more fun and laughter.

Topping the bill is Silky whose irresistible stage persona combines angriness with silliness. Free-wheeling stand up and barnstorming songs from one of the safest pairs of hands in the business, performing internationally since 1994. Silky is a triple threat: comedian, musician, improviser. No two shows are the same, but they’re all joyful. You’ll laugh, you’ll be open-mouthed as he invents entire songs live, and you’ll be humming the tunes for years.

Opening the night will be Rob Rouse, ever exuberant and recognizable from his many TV appearances including 'Upstart Crow', ‘8 Out Of Ten Cats’, John Bishop’s Only Joking’, ‘Celebrity Juice’, 'Dave's One Night Stand' and 'The Friday Night Project’, as well as making a guest appearance on ‘Coronation Street’. With his cheeky banter and extremely funny tales, he’s always one step ahead of his audience’s expectations and keeps them enthralled with his
comedic storytelling.

Also appearing is Pete Phillipson, originally from Lincolnshire but based in Manchester, he has been building a name for himself on the circuit as a very funny act over the last few years, mixing fast-paced observations and routines with wonderful characterisations.

Completing the line-up will be the energetic and uniquely funny Jack Wood.

Compere for the night is the cheeky, chatty Dave Twentyman, who puts a big smile on everyone's face. Talking a lot about the subjects closer to home such as family life and friends.
