Funhouse Comedy Club - New Comedy Night in Redditch November 2023

Funhouse Comedy Club, which already runs successful nights at numerous venues across the country, is excited to announce the launch of a brand new comedy night at South Redditch Sports and Social Club, Redditch on Friday November 17th.
Funhouse clubs are renowned for having exceptionally friendly audiences and a brilliant atmosphere, which have led to twice winning Best Midlands Comedy Club awards with leading comedy website Chortle. Previous acts to have played its clubs on their road to the top include Sarah Millican, Joe Lycett, James Acaster and Rhod Gilbert, who described the clubs as "among the best anywhere in the world."
Topping the bill is winner of ITV's 'Show Me The Funny' the instantly loveable and unique Patrick Monahan, with his trademark hyperactive and freewheeling charm. Following the release of his debut DVD he was a guest on Loose Women and also appeared alongside Philip Schofield and Jason Manford on ITV's Comedy Annual. More recently he appeared on ITV's Splash. Of Irish-Iranian decent, but brought up on Teeside he shares tales of his memories. He exudes warmth and charisma; his friendly style mixed with his hilarious story telling leaves everyone wanting for more.
Opening the night will be the engagingly affable Steve Day, who has been supporting Gary Delaney on tour. Describing himself as Britain's only deaf comedian, his real-life observations are funny, frank and thought-provoking. His unassuming charm and natural wit keep his audiences totally absorbed and wanting for more.
Completing the line-up Jules O'Brian, shortlisted for Funny Women 2021, she enjoys telling anyone who will listen about ageing disgracefully, body hang-ups, parenting, and dating all done with a twinkle in her eye.
Compere for the night will be the appealing Carl Jones, who has a natural ability of telling humorous stories, which draw in the entire crowd.
