Gallantly Forward Gala
Saturday, October 17, 2026, 1700 - 2030
Hosted by the Sergeant Colton Levi Derr Foundation, this special evening brings our community together to support veterans and their families and the fight against veteran suicide.
Enjoy dinner, visit with friends, and take part in a meaningful program honoring those who served. Browse and bid in our silent auction, then join the excitement of the live auction-with every winning bid supporting the Foundation’s mission.
Our featured speaker, Benjamin Sledge, is a wounded Iraq and Afghanistan combat veteran, recipient of the Bronze Star and Purple Heart, and author of Where Cowards Go to Die. He brings a powerful perspective on war, brotherhood, and coming home.
Enjoy The Starfellows-“2 Brothers, 1 Piano.” Brothers Cody and Jordan bring talented piano performances, lively music, and entertaining banter for a memorable finish.
Bring a friend, gather a table, and enjoy an evening that makes a difference for those who served.
Doors open at 5 PM. Tickets are $40.
Can’t attend? Purchase a ticket for a veteran and give them a seat at the table.
Get tickets at www.sergeantderrfoundation.org or call 605-545-2505.
